યુનિવર્સિટી ગ્રંથાલય નાં ૫ લાખ પુસ્તકો વેબસાઈટ પર મૂકાયાં
ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી સંલગ્ન કોલેજો માં અભ્યાસ કરતાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓ હવે અંદાજે ૫ લાખ પુસ્તકો ઈંટરનેટ પર મેળવી વાંચી શકશે.ભવિષ્યમાં ભારતની શ્રેષ્ઠ ઈબુકો પણ ઉપલબ્ધ થશે.

મારો સવાલ સુરેશભાઈ જેવો જ છે. આ પાંચ લાખ પુસ્તકો ખરેખર કોઈએ મૂક્યા છે કે પછી પાંચ લાખ પુસ્તકો મૂકવાની ‘જાહેરાત’ મૂકી છે !! મને તો એમની વેબસાઈટ પર પુસ્તકો કે જાહેરાત કાંઈ કરતા કાંઈ દેખાતું નથી. ( લીંક - http://www.gujaratuniversity.org.in/web/Weblib.asp )

inflibnet નુ અમદાવાદ નુ કેન્દ્ર ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી ના ડીજીટાઈઝેશન ના પ્રોજેક્ટ માં મદદ કરે છે. ક્યાં સુધી આ કામ આગળ વધ્યું છે એની જાણકારી મેળવવાનો હું પ્ર્યત્ન કરીશ.

અમદાવાદમાં મારાં એક મિત્રએ inflibnetમાં જઈ તપાસ કરી મને જણાવ્યું કે હાલમાં ડીજીટાઈઝેશન નો કોઈ પ્રોજેકટ નથી;લાયબ્રેરી ઓટોમેશન ને લગતો જ છે. આ માહીતિ આપવાં એમનો ખુબ ખુબ આભાર.
